My Story
Hello. My name is Lisa Smith and I am the owner of Doodlebug Daycare. I have over 20+ years in early childhood experience and ran my first daycare in Burrton Kansas for 10+years. Though I still live in Burrton with my husband, I saw that Newton was in need of affordable childcare. In 2018 I moved the daycare to Newton to start a new adventure.
Infant-Toddler Care
ages 6 wks - 2.5 years

Full-Time Program
Doodlebug Daycare offers full-time enrollment for children ages 6 weeks to 2.5 years old.
Food program
The daycare participates in Quality Care Food program through the government. This program concentrates on milk, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and protein in our daily meals and snacks. All enrolled children are qualified to participate in the food program at no cost to the parent! I promote homemade food and healthy eating choices.
